Houman received his undergraduate degree from Boston University, and his Master of Public Administration and law degree from the Syracuse College of Law. Houman also earned his law degree in taxation from the New York University School of Law.
Houman found his niche in the public sector where he represents numerous contractors on public works projects, from initial bid proposals through project completions, including labor audits and dispute resolution. Houman also represents subcontractors in claims concerning professional negligence, construction cost overruns and delays. Houman’s vast construction experience has been especially beneficial to his clients in contract negotiations.
Houman is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and is licensed in all California state courts, United States District Courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
